Roger Mapperley

Design Director

Roger is Design Director, with over 45 years’ experience in the refrigeration industry. His career spans service, installation, project management and consultancy, with the last decade focused on leading the design function and developing both retail and industrial capabilities, alongside the consultancy arm, Orwell Design Associates. Roger has been at the forefront of CO₂ refrigeration adoption since 2008 and is a recognised industry expert. A Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration, he has held board-level roles for over 25 years and is known for driving technical excellence and innovation.
